JCarpenter
Hi Guys, We are looking at purchasing an IRIS iRICELL2000 from BeckmanCoulter or a CLINITEK AUWi PRO from Siemens. Any thoughts out there about which would be better for a smaller lab. We currently have an old IRIS that I do like but it does not do well with bacteria. For those who might have the AUWi how often do you need to go to the microscope? Thanks for your help
Speedy
Did you try Sysmex? Their Digital Microscopic is awesome and It just came out this year. The Biochemical part is still waiting for the FDA's approval UD-10 Digital Image Atlas_1524-MKT_Rev1.pdf UN-2000 Brochure_MKT-10-1286 Rev1.pdf
LT John
Sysmex chem portion of the UN has been dropped and they're partnering with Siemens again for the chemistry portion. Trying to also find out if the Novus is better than the chem portion of the IRIS. We currently have the IRIS and I've had 2 recalls in the past year on their chem strips. We are planning on going with Sysmex but recently found out they will no longer be pursuing FDA approval for their own urine chemistry analyzer. Very disappointed being that I've read some good things about the full UN line currently running in other countries.
