We recently implemented platelet screening and crossmatching at my facility using Capture-P. Immucor's package insert doesn't specify how many days a patient specimen can be used for testing. Has anyone performed a study or validation? We currently stick to the three day rule. How many days is acceptable at your facility to perform this testing? Thank you for the input!
