Thanks so much Nancy - We are at the last stage evaluating Mediware and a couple of other vendors for our BB application to go with Epic Beaker that we will bring up at the same time throughout our facilities. Which large organization are you affliated with, if you don't mind me asking? I may want to reach out to them for some more insight before a final decision is made. Larry

We are attempting to interface the Epic Blood Admin module with Cerner Millennium BB and not working out very well in the interface setup. Is there another BB system already set up with the Epic Blood Admin out there? Or someone who may have accomplished this already?

Hello, I am currently involved in investigating a new BB solution for our LIS. We are preparing to switch to Epic Beaker here soon and will be migrating from Cerner Millennium which we currently use for LIS. I would like to hear of any one interfaced with a stand alone system for BB with Beaker, especially if near by Charlotte, NC. Would even be interested in traveling to see your facility and Lab with these systems to get a better idea and grasp of what to expect and learn how it works a bit. Appreciate your feedback!
