What are other facilities using for quantitative hcg testing? We are currently using the miniVidas but may be moving all other testing to a different analyzer. I am not sure what options there are out there and just looking for some input to aime me in the right direction. Thanks!

I am looking for suggestions for cheap, but good centrifuges that we could use for Rh testing in tube. The one we currently have does not provide a good enough cell button at the manufacturer's recommendation. I am looking for one that we can have go from 0 seconds to whatever but also use for spinning of other specimen tubes if that is possible. If you have any ideas please pass them along! Thanks!!!!

In our lab we are currently using the Sediplast Westergren ESR System for ESR testing. What other manual methods are people using these days? We are using Polymedco's Sed-Chek 2 QC material but it doesn't alway perform the best so I am debating to switching to BioRads controls but wanted to know what others were using.

The facility I work in just started up not to long ago and the doctors decided to report out only the %'s. This is different than other places I have worked but it is what the doctor's preferred here.

I work in a very small lab and we are going to start performing Rh typing. I was wondering if anyone could help me with knowing what control cells to use for performing QC. What I have so far is the Anti Rh-hr Control. What else am I need of to make sure that I am running accurate Rh testing and am compliant with COLA? Thanks for your input!!!
