  1. Bio-Rad has one that is just a 5 minute RT, spin and read.
  2. Where did you get the labels you apply to the vials? Since the ProVue is not licensed for weak D testing, did you do your own validation?
  3. All the Bio-Rad equipment are running with Windows 7 - Tango Infinity and IH1000. I'm not sure about any others.
  4. Can't you get them from the vendor?
  5. I can't seem to find out how long the Immucor Whole Blood corQC can be used after a vial is opened and used on the instrument. Can anyone tell me?
  6. For those of you who may miss Malcolm as ASCLS in Rhode Island, you have another chance to meet him and hear him talk at the joint meeting of SCABB and CBBS. The meeting is in Las Vegas, June 2-5. Malcolm speaks at 12:15-1:15 on June 2. The preliminary program is attached. I hope some of you will be able to catch him during his second US appearance. preliminary program.pdf
  7. We just got our letter from Immucor notifying us of the increases. The average increase was 24%. For ABO reagents it was 32% and for other reagents it was as much as 48%. How much was Ortho's price increase.
  8. Olympus does have dedicated blood bank reagents for both the PK7200 (donor) and the TANGO (hospital) instruments. However, they do distribute some manual blood banking reagents. These include antibody screening cells, a panel, reverse cells, check cells and a QC kit. They have more information on their web page if you're interested.
