Thank You very much for your quick reply! That all made perfect sense to me so thank you! I was finding it hard to get information regarding this so it’s much appreciated! I’ve never had a blood transfusion or a baby so I just found it strange that it was present in my blood and I couldn’t find an explanation on how this occurred. Doctors advised me it would not have an effect on my health but I was just worried regarding the pregnancy issues that kept popping up on Google. Not that I am planning kids anytime soon lol but its good to know! Thanks A Lot for clearing that up for me! Regards Michelle

Hello, I have just came out of hospital after getting my tonsils out. There was alot of problems with my operation and I lost alot of blood. They took lots of samples of me incase I needed a blood transfusion. Doctors advised me when my results ame back that there was antigen cw in my blood. I have been issued with a card to acrry with me at all times incase I ever need a blood transfusion. I was told you get this antigen from previous blood tranfusions. However i have never had a blood transfusion and this was actually my first time in hospital ! Can you have this antigen in your blood naturally ? And will it have a big affect on me or my baby if I ever want to start a family ?? Regards Michelle
