    JOB SUMMARY: Lake Nona Diagnostics, LLC is currently seeking a Florida licensed General Supervisor and/or Medical Technologist's with experience troubleshooting and performing data review on the AB Sciex 4500, as well as experience with the Quant Studio platform. The ideal candidate's will have at least two years of experience with PCR and LCMS sample preparation, data review and troubleshooting. The laboratory primarily performs toxicology and RT-PCR testing. Florida licensure as a Medical Technologist - Generalist is preferred. A qualified candidate will be able to perform the following tasks on a daily basis, or as needed: The Schedule for these position's is Monday - Friday RT-PCR COVID TESTING: · Performs PCR sample preparation · Performs calibrations and QC on Quant Studio 5 · Performs patient testing on Quant Studio · Follows established procedures to perform routine laboratory testing. · Follows established quality control procedures for all tests including initiation of remedial action in out-of-control situations. · Performs all Laboratory Information System (LIS) functions necessary to complete patient testing and specimen processing. · Promotes good relations through productive and professional interaction with other staff. · Maintains reagents and supplies inventory. · Maintains a clean and organized work area. · Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the Laboratory Supervisor, and the Laboratory Manager · Participates in proficiency testing events when requested to do so by the Laboratory Supervisor or Laboratory Manager. · Performs all routine maintenance procedures and calibration of clinical analyzers throughout the laboratory. · Performs and documents quality control according to guidelines and takes remedial action when necessary. · Documents and alerts Laboratory Supervisor to unresolved problems. · Participates in maintaining regulatory compliance with Florida Department of Health, CLIA and COLA. TOXICOLOGY TESTING: Performs data review on the AB Sciex 4500 Screens for drugs of abuse on the Alinity ci Creates solutions according to procedure Follows established procedures to perform routine clinical laboratory testing. Follows established quality control procedures for all tests including initiation of remedial action in out-of-control situations. Performs all Laboratory Information System (LIS) functions necessary to complete patient testing and specimen processing. Promotes good relations through productive and professional interaction with other staff. Assist in maintaining reagent and supply inventories. Maintains a clean and organized work area.
