If an Apheresis plasma is used for reconstituting RBC's does the amount of anticoagulant have to be on the label?

Currently we are using thermal transfer but are considering switching to direct thermal for printing ISBT labels. In addition to RBC's and platelets we make FFP, Cryo, freeze and deglyc. I would appreciate any feedback pro or con for using the direct thermal printing.

I'm looking for the steps to set up a Symbol LS4208 Scanner to read ISBT and Codabar in Hemocare. I have received some steps from Mediware but can't seem to get it to read ISBT.

I tried scanning an ISBT number in Hemocare in outside source entry, it scanned an equal sign in front of the number then I had to hit the enter key to move to the next entry. I'm using a LS1004 scanner. I'm thinking it might be the scanner, but would be open to any suggestions. We too are in the process of implementing to HCLL. Visit me when you visit cin. Thanks
